Privacy requests
Privacy Choices
You can ask Wentfar to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide portable copies of your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent for optional processing, or raise a privacy concern. To start, email support@wentfar.com from the email address on your Wentfar account where possible. You do not need to use legal terms or choose the exact right before contacting us.
What to include
- The email address associated with your account, if you have one.
- What you would like us to do, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection.
- Any details that help us find the relevant trip, content, or time period.
Do not send passwords, recovery codes, or government ID unless we specifically explain why a narrow additional check is necessary. We may use an authenticated in-app confirmation or a one-time verification sent to your verified account email to protect your data and other people’s data.
How we handle requests
We record, review, and verify requests proportionately. Where GDPR applies, we target a complete response without undue delay and within one calendar month. We use the same one-month target as our normal global practice unless local law requires a shorter period. Complex or numerous requests can take longer where the law allows; if so, we will explain why within the initial response period. Rights and exceptions vary by location and request type.
Where access or portability applies, we provide the requested data securely while protecting other people’s private information. Requests are free by default; if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, any fee or refusal is assessed under the law that applies and explained to you.
Account deletion
For whole-account deletion, use the in-app deletion flow or our verified-email account-deletion page. You can still email us if you need help with that flow or want to make another privacy request at the same time.
Questions and complaints
Contact support@wentfar.com first and we will try to resolve the issue. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, info@aki.ee, +372 627 4135, or to the data-protection supervisory authority in the EEA country of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
